What to expect for you and your quests: For sure stress relief, recovery, the purest air and the most beautiful nature, great environment for yoga, traditional sauna (“sauna” is originally a Finnish word!), nightless night, culinary nutrition – clear minds and healthy bodies!

In Villa Mandala you pamper your customers with space and silence, daily exercise, Scandinavian super foods, digital detox and outdoor wellness activities with a twist of Finnish mythology and folklore. Treatments like traditional sauna and dip in a lake (or ice hole!) or herbal bath will offer you authentic Scandinavia for all senses.

The experience:

• Stress-Free-Area © interior decoration and environment that guarantees comfortable and stress free stay. Villa Mandala's surroundings consist of the main building, original farm's manor house Solvilla, the side building Rengintupa, traditional farmhouse and the old smoke sauna which is renovated respecting the old traditions (used without smoke nowadays).

• The buildings are surrounded by a hundred-year-old traditional garden, giant old trees, a pretty park and hundreds of acres of forest. In the Forest of silence there is a walking path with such stops as the Big Meditation Rock and Forest Yoga Spot.

• Yoga shala (87 m2) can be used for workshops, trainings and seminars. Equipment: data projector, screen, WiFi, AV, chairs, tables and yoga mats and props

• 9 unique Stress-Free-Area© bedrooms, for 2-4 persons, with a total accommodation capacity of 27 people.

• Vegetarian and vegan catering prepared by Villa Mandala’s top chefs.

• Maintenance services.

• Wooden heated traditional Finnish sauna and outside bath tub (icy or warm!)

The yoga shala’s equipment for your retreat consists of 

• 30 yoga mats

• 50​ bolsters, 30 straps

• 60​ yoga blocks, 20 yoga chairs 

• We have a data projector & screen, surround sound system and white boards

• You have also a 5 customers yoga wall in your use, to work with customers who need postural assessments etc.

The food

During the retreat our guests will be pampered with the mouth-watering and nourishing gourmet vegetarian and vegan food prepared by our skilled and professional chefs.

The meals we offer will nurture the bodies of stressed and tired by offering much needed antioxidants, minerals and other important nutrients. One of our most important goals is to use as much organic and locally produced ingredients as we can. Our chefs have also expertise in preparing delicious gluten-free and sugar-free products as well as using Finnish herbs as a part of supporting holistic wellness. The water we serve comes from our own source of spring water.
